Serving Austin, Texas and the surrounding area, the Texas Hill Country Section of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (THC - AIHA) presents technical programs several times a year. Attendance earns Certification Maintenance points for a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
Membership is open to individuals with an interest in industrial hygiene, occupational health and safety, environmental sciences and related fields. Membership in the national AIHA is not a prerequisite for joining the Section. Many Section members have earned the designation of Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
