Position Description |
|
Provides environmental, health and safety (EHS) support for a facility program. Manages employees performing activities to ensure EHS requirements are met for the operation and maintenance of an office complex, including coordinating site inspections, interfacing with regulatory agencies, assessing risks and conducting relevant training. Develops, implements and maintains a comprehensive communication plan with senior customer and site management. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives. Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees. Prefer knowledge and experience in Green initiatives and the LEED certification process. |

Bachelor's or Master's degree in safety, health or environmental related field and typically a minimum of 15 years experience as a manager of EHS programs and projects. The successful candidate will be required to have or obtain an SSBI clearance with SI/TK and CI polygraph. Due to the nature of the project, US citizenship is required of the candidate and their immediate family members. Subsidiary benefits. Located in Chantilly , VA.
