Texas Hill Country AIHA (THC - AIHA) members are dedicated to the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of contaminants and stressors that may cause sickness, impaired health and well-being, or significant discomfort and inefficiency among workers and the general public. Serving Austin, Texas and the surrounding area, the THC - AIHA presents technical programs several times a year. Membership is beneficial to individuals with an interest in industrial hygiene, occupational health and safety, environmental sciences and related fields of public health. Membership in the national AIHA is not a prerequisite for joining the Section. Many THC - AIHA members have earned the designation of Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) by the a American Board of Industrial Hygiene. Chapter and Industry News3/10/2010 Joann Natarajan from OSHA Region VI will be giving an informative OSHA update . 1/14/2009 Registration now open for February 11-12, 2010 Symposium! 11/12/2009 Our November program will be held November 12, 2009 at CSHI. Lunch and networking begin at 11:30am. 10/3/2009 Please join us October 8, 2009 at CSHI for our October program. Lunch begins at 11:30am with speaker to follow. 10/1/2009 The 3rd Annual EIA Fall Technical Seminar is Friday, October 9. Click here for more information and registration.
6/5/2009 THC - AIHA has recessed for the summer. Out next meeting is August 13, 2009.
